Farmhouse. Probably later C17, partly rebuilt in C18, altered in C19, and incorporating C16 material. Front elevation red and grey brick in Flemish bond. Right return partly header bond, partly Flemish and mixed bond. Rear and left return older red and grey brick in a mixed bond, except for upper part of first floor, which is interrupted Flemish bond. Plain tile roof. Central-entry plan. Double depth. 2 storeys, attic, and semi-cellar. Low flint plinth. Dentilled brick eaves cornice to each elevation. Steeply-pitched hipped roof, hips returning to rear. Projecting brick stack with flint base panel towards front of right return, and truncated projecting brick stack towards front of left return. Two flat-roofed two-light dormers. Regular 3-window front of two pairs of four-pane sashes in open boxes, and central two-light casement. Similar sashes to ground floor, with segmental heads. Blocked central doorway (to left end of longer right room). Rear elevation has one three-light and one single-light casement to first floor, segmental heads to ground-floor casements, and central boarded door with segmental head. Interior: chamfered cross beam, bevelled joists, and brick fireplace with niches and chamfered bressumer, to front right ground floor room. Chamfered axial beam and fireplace with high bressumer to rear right room. Plank doors. U-plan roof of staggered butt purlins in short lengths, with re-used rafters from a lapped-collar roof. Short lengths of C16 moulded beams re-used in cellar
